Before I moved to Australia. The hottest temp. I had ever suffer through was 35c. In my first summer in Australia. I had an entire week where the temperature hovered around 42c. I was so happy when the forecast showed that the next week will be around 35. Also, I was surprised how the temperature could suddenly go from being around 28-32 today. To 40-44 tomorrow. And then back to 28-32 again.

Does Australia have humid weather? I'm in Shenzhen and the hottest temperature during summer is 35 Celsius but the humidity makes it feel like it's 10 degrees higher and it's so humid your breath is heavy.

When I was in France at the Mediterranean Sea for vacation one summer, we had between 42 and 48 °C for six days. On the seventh day, at 35°C, we were freezing a bit. It was a couple of years ago, I was around 10 or so, and we had brought some plastic toys, and while they didn't melt or anything, they got noticeably softer after having been inside the RV for several hours. No need to go two countries further to the east to get that kind of heat.

Some people say that with the climate change, the life on Earth will be better cause more space for farming because Siberia for example will be warmer. (that's stupid but they are stupid). Not sure Australians will be happy to have +2 C°. I've read some weeks ago an article explaining that above a certain température, you cannot live. Not 80°, but a température where the body cannot cold with sweat so you die. I don't remember where in Australia but some places are becoming less ok for life than before
